Itinerary
Robotaxi Ride & AI Tech Immersion
Meet your English-speaking guide at Xuelin Road Metro Station (Line 13, Exit 3). Board a Robotaxi and ride through Zhangjiang's tech district for 5-10 minutes — no driver, the car handles everything.
Step into MetAI Hub, a 2,000 sqm tech experience center, where a staff member guides you through the interactive zones:
- Dance with robot dogs that respond to voice commands
- Chat with humanoid robots powered by large language models
- Try on AI smart glasses and AI earbuds
- Get a 3D scan of your bone and body health data
- Strum a stringless AI guitar and play a song guided by LED lights
- Strap on an exoskeleton and feel your legs get stronger
- A robot arm hand-brews your coffee, or customizes a latte with your preferred design
More exciting discoveries await: an AI companion pet that learns more about you over time, 3D printing and laser engraving, AI health and lifestyle gear, and many more cool tech gadgets to explore. Your guide will also show you how to use the drone delivery app to order a drink — watch the drone fly in and drop it at the pickup station.
Head to the Science Gate Twin Towers and go up to the observation deck for a 360-degree view of Zhangjiang Science City. On a clear day, the three iconic towers of Lujiazui are visible in the distance. Walk past the Zhangjiang Science Convention Center — its futuristic architecture makes a good photo stop — then arrive at the Zhangjiang Water Ring.
Follow a 1.5 km waterfront path along a renovated canal so clear that locals call it the "jelly river." Pass sci-fi themed bridges and see office workers kayak and paddleboard beneath their buildings. Your guide tells you about the famous AI companies, autonomous driving labs, and robotics startups on the other side — the AI Island.
After the walk, our tour ends here. You can grab a meal nearby or take the metro back to the city — we recommend avoiding the evening rush.
Kayak / Paddleboard add-on: Paddle alongside the local office workers — it's the best way to blend in. $25/person, 1 hour. Your guide takes photos for you. On the afternoon session, you can catch the golden shimmer of sunset on the water.

- Age Note: Most AI experiences suit ages 6+. Please let us know if anyone is under 12.
- Flexibility: Itinerary order may be adjusted based on venue capacity, weather conditions, and Robotaxi operational status. In case of bad weather, the drone delivery experience may not be available — we appreciate your understanding.
