Itinerary
A Thousand Years of Banquet in 100 Minutes
Arrive at Shu Yan Fu in EKA Tianwu complex and check in. Before seating, a brief hand-washing ceremony sets the tone. If you've added costume rental, select from over 300 Han-dynasty style robes — allow extra time if also adding makeup.
The venue seats guests in four rows around a central stage. Rows 2-3 offer the best view.
Lunch entry at 12:00, dinner at 18:30. Over 100 minutes, seven acts unfold: the sword dance of Chu-Han Confrontation, the water-sleeve dance of Goddess of the Luo River, the Silk Road rhythms of Tang, the flower-crowning ceremony of Song, and the grand costume showcase Splendid Ages. Each act arrives with a matching Sichuan course — peppercorn squab, bamboo fungus soup, fiery mapo tofu, and steamed fish with sour chili.
The performance is in Chinese, but the venue provides English program guides and large-screen English introductions throughout the show.

Good to Know
- Location: Shu Yan Fu is at 535 Jinqiao Road, EKA Tianwu complex, Pudong. By taxi from the Bund, approximately 40 minutes. By metro, take Line 6 to Jinqiao Road Station, Exit 3 or 4, then walk 12-15 minutes.
- Arrival timing: Lunch entry at 12:00, dinner at 18:30. If adding costume and makeup, arrive 1-1.5 hours before showtime. Makeup appointments are first-come, first-served.
- Seating: We recommend Rows 2-3 for the best experience. Avoid seats near the support pillars on either side, as they partially block the view. For VIP first-row or budget fourth-row seating, contact us directly.
- Booking: This venue is popular — we recommend booking at least 3-5 days in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours of showtime are non-refundable. If your preferred time or seat is unavailable, we'll suggest alternatives.
